Why We Built This Site
Alabama court access is useful, but finding the correct DeKalb County office takes care. Circuit Court handles felony trials, District Court handles misdemeanors and felony preliminary work, and Municipal Courts keep their own traffic and ordinance files. The Sheriff's Office serves county process and offers a warrant-confirmation phone route, while its public Most Wanted page is only a curated program. We bring those official routes together with the Circuit Clerk's record-request process. A blank public page cannot establish that a warrant does not exist, so current status must come from the sheriff or the court that issued it.
What You Will Find Here

- Outstanding warrants: how to check for active warrants and what an "active" status actually means
- Missed court dates: how bench warrants arise and which court holds them
- Charge-based warrants: how arrest warrants are issued and served in DeKalb County
- Resolving a warrant: the steps to resolve a warrant, from talking to an attorney to posting bond and a motion to recall or quash
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site with no connection to an Alabama court, sheriff's office, or state agency. Those limits matter:
- We cannot run an official warrant check or confirm whether a warrant exists for anyone
- We cannot remove, recall, quash, or clear a warrant on any system
- We cannot post bond or accept any kind of payment toward a warrant
- We cannot arrange a surrender, a court date, or a warrant walk-through
- We cannot give legal advice or tell you how a specific warrant applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or warrant listing on this site is current right now
Only the court that issued the warrant or the sheriff's warrant unit that holds it can confirm whether a warrant exists and whether it has been recalled or cleared. We can point you to the right office, but the answer has to come from them.
Search Partners
Some pages on this site include search boxes powered by third-party providers. Those companies set their own pricing and run their own services. When you use one of those tools and it leads to a paid signup, we may earn a referral fee. That revenue helps keep this site free for visitors. We do not control what those tools charge or what shows up in their results, and their data is not an official warrant check.
